Semester 2 Community Service Due

Semester 2 Community Service Due!

Community Service is a part of the Social Studies Curriculum at MMUHS. In an effort to build understanding and appreciation for the importance of community service and to instill a sense of duty, responsibility, and commitment to society, community service is a requirement.
Students are required to participate in 5 hours of community service each semester. Students will document and reflect upon their service to receive credit. Documentation must include: Name, activity, # of hours, date the activity happened, signature of supervisor, and ½ page reflection. Community Service is due for Semester 1 on December 11th, 2009 and for Semester 2 on May 7th, 2010. Students may contact the teacher, school website, or school bulletin postings for assistance in locating community service opportunities.
